1. Definitions
"Platform" refers to GoBookSlot and all its digital services. "Provider" is the registered business offering services through the Platform. "Customer" is the user who makes bookings. "Booking" is a confirmed appointment between a Customer and a Provider.
2. Use of the Platform
The Platform connects Providers with Customers. GoBookSlot acts as a technology intermediary and is not a party to the service contract between Provider and Customer. GoBookSlot does not guarantee the availability, quality, or legality of services offered by Providers.
3. Registration and Account
The user warrants that the data provided upon registration is truthful, accurate, and up to date. Only one account per person is allowed. Assigning or sharing the account with third parties is prohibited. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials.
4. Fees and Payments
GoBookSlot charges a commission on online bookings. The current fee is displayed in the Provider dashboard and may be updated with 30 days' notice. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. GoBookSlot does not store credit card data.
5. Cancellations
Cancellation conditions are defined independently by each Provider. GoBookSlot does not guarantee refunds unless the Provider explicitly approves them. Customers should review each Provider's cancellation policy before confirming a booking.
6. Liability
GoBookSlot is not liable for the quality of services rendered by Providers, nor for direct or indirect damages arising from cancellations, breaches, or disputes between Provider and Customer. GoBookSlot's maximum liability is limited to the amount of commissions charged on the transaction subject to the claim.
7. Intellectual Property
Platform content (brand, design, code, text) is the property of GoBookSlot or its licensors. Content contributed by Providers (photos, service descriptions) belongs to them; Providers grant GoBookSlot a non-exclusive licence to display such content on the Platform.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
For users in Spain: these Terms are governed by Spanish law and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of São Mamede de Infesta, Matosinhos. For users in Portugal: these Terms are governed by Portuguese law and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Porto.
9. Modifications
GoBookSlot may modify these Terms with a minimum of 30 days' prior notice, communicated by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
